Legendary filmmaker Mike Leigh returns to the modern world with a fierce, compassionate, and often darkly humorous study of family and the thorny bonds that bind us together. The stunning Marianne Jean-Baptiste, who first reunited with Leigh on the Oscar-nominated Secrets and Lies, plays Pansy, a woman wracked by fear, plagued by grief, and prone to furious tirades against her husband, son, and anyone who gets in her way.
